Simple Session 23 will be back in Tallinn, Estonia, on September 19–26, with a big festival and an all-around good time! The Simple Session series will host an exciting contest in the Põhjala district – an old rubber factory turned into a cultural hub will serve as a thrilling location for the event.

A hundred of the finest BMX riders and skateboarders from around the world will go head to head on a new 800m2 Wessel-designed street course.

Skateboarding and BMX are all about creativity. So is Simple Session – hosting the series at Tallinn’s most fantastic and liveliest venue will take the entire contest experience to another level for athletes and viewers alike. We are coming closer to fans and back to the core of these sports and our roots.

Simple Session 23 also features its (in)famous four-day party & concert program from Thursday to Sunday 21–24.09. Activities extend to 7 days from August 20–26 making up one extensive festival experience – live concerts and parties, film screenings, workshops, exhibitions, pop-ups, and real street jams. See you all in September 2023!

Press access

PLEASE FILL IN THE MEDIA ACCREDITATION REQUEST!

The press credential serves the purpose of covering Simple Session contest.

In order to apply for press accreditation to Simple Session 22, please fill in the application form. The deadline for applications is May 16, 2022. All applicants will receive an answer by August 18, 2022.

Please note that due to a high number of requests and limited spots for media at the venue, it is impossible for us to guarantee press access to all the good people who send us their applications. Established publications and photographers/journalists are served first.

PRESS ACCESS

Simple Session 22 press credential grants:

– entry to the arena during training days and during both contest days;
– access to the riders lounge of the arena;
– access to the press room with internet connection;
– Entry to the Simple Session parties (18 years and up)
– accredited photographers will receive a PHOTO access badge (instead of the general PRESS badge) and will be allowed on the contest course during Training Days and Qualifications.

Due to limited space and security considerations, access to the contest course during the Finals is reserved ONLY to official STAFF photographers and LIVE broadcasters, with only a select few extra course spots for additional photographers (organizers reserve the right to allocate positions). However, there are spots around the course during the Finals, from where it is possible to take close photos and film video, as well as anywhere across the arena.

Fee

The accreditation fee for non-partner outlets is 40 euros and will be paid upon registration at the venue (invoice or cash). Press delegates of official media partners – please contact press@session.ee for your confirmation.
