Baker made a splash as a rookie at X Games California 2023, becoming the first ever to win both BMX Dirt Elimination and the Dirt Final in the same event, snagging his first gold medal. In 2024, he kept the momentum rolling with back-to-back golds in BMX Dirt at X Games Ventura, plus a silver in BMX Dirt Best Trick—bringing his total to three X Games medals: two golds and a silver.
